Ratings disabled per user?

    I sometimes accidentally rate a thread when I unsubscribe from notifications due to a condition called "stupid fingers." My rating would be random, but I'd hate to accidentally indicate that I have a low regard of someone, so I am wondering if that feature could be disabled by user account? Maybe if other people are accidentally rating stuff the feature could be disabled entirely - just floating the idea for feedback

    I can certainly get rid of the rating option. Doesn't seem like it's being used much anyways.
    How do other members feel about that?
