    Here's one my uncle told me when I was kid:

    I was out ice fishing once and it was really, really cold. I'm standing next to my hole, freezing, and I see this old guy catching fish after fish! Just pulling them out one after another!

    So I walked over and asked him if he'd tell me the secret. He mumbled at me "hmm hmmm hm hmmm hmm hmmm hmmm!"

    I couldn't understand him at all, so I apologized and asked again. He answered "hmm hmmm hm hmmm hmm hmmm hmmm!!!"

    I figured he was having fun with me, so I said "fine, you don't have to tell me, but it's too cold to fool around like this!"

    The old guy went *gulp!* and said "You have to keep the worms warm!"
