For Sale- Garmin GPS Map 172c

Comes with SD card pre-loaded with Garmin Blue Chart (Lake of the Woods, Minaki, etc) as well as Topo maps preloaded that can be added and removed ad-hoc.

Also has sun-cover; power cable for boat/ATV/Snowmoble and power cable for 110 outlet at home that also connects to your laptop/PC.

Gimble bracket swivels 360 degrees at base and tilts up down. Pre-punched holes for RAM mount.

Very light unit, perfect for ATV or snowmo, with double duty in the boat. GPS only with built in antennae (Garmin was way ahead of it's time). Unit is very quick and responsive and holds GPS position better than most newer units.

Comes with padded camera bag as well.

I used this unit in the boat for years, as well as in the truck on ice.

    Asking $300

Anything under $240 I may as well keep it and give it to my charter buddy in Puerta Vallarta as a tip and part of the trip......

    Final price-- $240

I mentioned that it has Ibycus Topo preinstalled, but didn't mention I've got the whole set of disks for Garmin Topo Canada that comes with.

Cool thing about this older Garmin plotter is that Garmin was way ahead of everyone else back then--- you can add and remove Topo map section by section and also keep the marine charts on BlueChart on the same chip that comes with the unit. By today's comparison, it's like having Navionics+ (with less lakes) plus adding topo options that you want. Meaning--you can fish the marine charts, then go up on land and have snowmobile/quad trails; creeks; elevation etc and footprints of unmapped lakes with islands/marsh areas and so on.

It's perfect for someone that uses a quad/snomo that fishes with a flasher and doesnt need their plotter unit on the machine to have it's own sonar.

I havent put this anywhere but here yet. By monday I'll put it up on Fbook etc for $300.
