CUS-72MH, about 5 years old but not used very much, spent most of it's time well protected in the rod locker, a well respected rod in brand new perfect condition. The Cumara is super sensitive, super light high end Shimano rod, buy mine for about 1/2 the price of new, $160....no disappointments, PM if interested

Would this rod be good for Bottom Bouncing larger weights in current??

That's exactly what I used it for as well as dropshotting, in the last couple of years got into using baitcasters in those applications, have two Cumulus medium heavies I now use, that's why this one sat in the rod locker more and more, I had two Cumara's like this, sold the other one last year. If your wondering about current........I most often fish the Winnipeg River out of Pointe duBois, speak about current!!!!!

That's a very nice rod, way more practical for other applications. For bottom bouncing a cheap medium heavy is all you need but not to take away from BGF's sale it would be a nice set up and work fine.

I have a Cumulus medium heavy as well, extremely nice rods. Too bad now unavailable. Overkill for bottom bouncing in my opinion, not really a finesse technique. I've used mine to BB in the past, but no advantage.

Would agree with your opinion on bottom bouncing not being a finesse technique but the rods certainly have many other uses other than bouncing. Drop shot is a finesse technique, pitching cranks with a 7'2" rod gets you more distance. What I like about both the Cumara and the Cumulus is how light they are, paired with the right reel ( on the Cumara set ups I have I use the Stradic ci4+) they are fantastic weapons!

Anyway, this is posted in the buy and sell and the intent is to sell something, the post is really not meant to solicit opinions.

    Thanks for the interest everyone.

I should have added in the original post that this model is still covered by Shimano's Lifetime Warranty
