    Selliny my slide in truck camper. Will post more pictures if I have to when I get around to it. Everything works. No leaks. Good shape.
    Will be upgrading next year to a newer lighter folddown type.

    Length... I will have to measure for exact length but it does need a long box truck to fit.

    Weight... I weighed it at a certified truck scale this summer. With 2 full 20# propane tanks, 2 big batteries, and about 200 LBS odds n ends in the camper it weighed out at 1650ish LBS.

    Fridge... 3 way fridge/freezer.

    Stove... 3 burner propane stove with oven.

    Power... Yes there's a cord to plug it into AC power.

    Propane tanks... I don't really have any spare propane tanks but I'm sure I can find something if it'll make or break a sale.

    Has built in propane heater.

    Black water tank.

    4 jacks.

    Everything works with much of the wiring and propane lines being replaced 3 years ago by me and a friend.

    I bought this camper from a friend. When he bought it we went over it from top to bottom replacing what we figured needed replacing. Camper is in very good condition. I wouldn't be scared to sell it to my next door neighbor.

    What DON'T I like about it??? It's a heavy sucker. You NEED a 3/4 ton truck if you plan on driving a fair distance.

    Actually it's not that heavy for today's campers..
    3/4 ton min..
    one ton perfect.
    I regret not getting a one ton. But a 3/4 ton for this one would be just fine IMO.

    I dunno', to me it seems heavy for the size. Also, in the pic that 3/4 seems to have a lot of ass end sag, I would say it's even too heavy for a 3/4!

    It needs one more leaf,that’s what I did with mine and it was enough to level it out.

    So then I would be correct, too heavy for a 3/4! Even though I have never needed a 3/4 for my life style, I do have the occasionally haul heavy with my 1500, I considered the adding a leaf scenario many years ago but then decided to do the air bag thing so I could be level no matter what, haven't regretted that decision one bit since.

    The leaf I added gave me an extra 600 lbs payload. Now I know that legally doesn’t change the the trucks rating.
    The truck sits 2.5” higher and now better on gas. The first time I went to BigWhiteshell I used x amount of fuel. The other 3 trips I used 1/4 tank less after I put the extra leaf.
    The truck sits pretty high now but it is what it is. I talked to several people and they all recommended an extra leaf, even the ones that had air bags.
    Personal choice IMO.
    I also don’t use my truck everyday, I’ll use our car most of the time.
    All in all I’m very happy with our camper, the option to remove it and use the truck is a kin to 5th wheel option. For the two of us it’s perfect, and practical.

    Level of the truck and maybe better towing. It was minimal but the proofs is in the pudding.
    Can’t see why else the fuel would improve before and after. Something changed it. I don’t recall it bring that windy either.

    I think a 1/4 tank difference is substantial not minimal, if I could save that each trip I would be celebrating!

    Your right, I know, in years gone by when we did the family rv thing hauling travel trailers (had a 24 footer at first then a 30 footer) wind was a major factor, not only head wind as would be obvious, side wind too.....tail wind great. What I also noticed was the quality of fuel, when I ran better fuel from say Shell, a bit more power and better mileage, run premium and even better but not enough to justify the extra expense......lower quality fuels I could tell the difference.

    Yep it was a big difference if it and it may have been a smaller amount. But it’s the common denominator that i could think of. Lol

    Since I took that picture I've installed airbags. Made a huge difference. The truck handles the camper no problems at all. I would keep the camper but I also installed a tonneau cover and now its very tight fit in the back. Only a half inch clearance per side. It works... But it takes 2 guys to back under it and 99% of the time I'm by myself.

    Yes, a one ton truck would definitely be better but a 3/4 ton also works.

    SOLD!

    It took the couple that came to look at it no more then 5 minutes checking it over before they handed me an envelope with the asking price in it. I listed it for $2850. They're very happy with it and I'm happy it's going to a good home. To bad it couldn't go someone here, but such is life.
