I'm thinking about putting a smaller order for some Phischon sport trac compatible mounts with or without rod holders from Amazon.com. TrackStar is compatible with all 1/4″ gunnel tracks from all boat manufacturers i.e. Tracker Versatrack, Lund Sport Trak, Crestliner Lock Track, Polar Kraft, Lowe, War Eagle, G3
The cost of parcel services and bringing them to Winnipeg is an additional $27 so looking for a guy or two interested from the Winnipeg area to split an order with me potentially in the next while. They look like pretty robust mounts though not cheap to buy especially with the poor exchange. Can't seem to find much in Canada except plastic mounts.

Looks like those could be easily made with locally purchased supplies, some Aluminum flat stock, couple of carriage bolts (with the heads ground down to fit in the track) and some wing nuts if the knobs are hard to find, probably all available at Home Depot.

That Princess Auto stuff would fit the build nicely. Might also be able to get those types of carriage bolts and knobs at the Bolt House or Adam's Supply.

Ok Kilroy and BGF you inspired me to build my own. Seeing those knob kits Kilroy listed gave me a few ideas. Didn't realize they carried those at good old Princess auto.

Yes, WSL carries them. Like everything in the Sport Trak World, they are really overpriced.

    I still bought two.

Well i just picked up 4 of the sport trac deals to attach rod holders and they were $100 used. I don't really need 4 but new they are $35 each I was told.
