I have a well used ok condition fl-18 collecting dust - it needs a maintenance visit ($89 usd) to vexilar as the brushes are worn. Other than that its in good working shape.
$200 firm! Get it now, send it in, and it will be ready long before the ice is!
    I am original owner.

    Smokin' deal!

I'd bet that it's completely usable as is....when brushes get worn it just means the display is not as brilliant as out of the box. My old FL-8 could prob use a brush rebuild but it fishes just fine.

Great deal. I have the FL-18 as well and no issues working beside Marcum LX-7.

Not to hi-jack this post - but what are you guys talking about with the 'brushes'?

The vex works with a set of Brushes inside. That's what gives you the display. Over time they wear out, you can get replacement brushes for 25 bucks. Like mike said, your display dims when they are worn.
