    I only have insight genisis to go by but when using 1 ft contours in IG on the WPG River the clutter of all the numbers was a real pain in the ass.

    It's a balance between reducing clutter in fast-breaking areas and having enough labels in flat'ish areas.

    How about the 2017 AEM upgrade featuring an ice fishing mode that marks areas where you need an extension on Lake Winnipeg as well as access points that Malibus and Corollas can use? Fully compatible with Eagle units with a max of 16 levels of grayscale and 240 vertical pixels. :D:p

    It's a big weekend for AEM ... we're now on the YouTube! :thumbsup1: This first video showcases the way contour lines and labels will display on 2017 chips, we feel this is an improvement over past chips. These changes were primarily based on the feedback we received from users on this forum, so thanks again to all who chimed in on that. So, now the minor contours become visible at lower zoom levels than previously (i.e. when zoomed out more), and also we have added labels to the minor contour lines who's frequency depends on zoom level. Zoom in more = more minor contour labels, to a point. This should be particularly nice when in flat'ish areas where major contour lines are few and far between.

    That looks great Rob, I was worried it would be to busy with all the minor contours #'s thats not the case at all.
