Sounds very familar to what the cottage owners did at Gull lake, made their own rules. I think I'll be heading up there with my 115 this summer. I will be respectful of the shoreline but I will be putting around with a 115.

It is a quirky thing for sure it's just unfortunate that it's not a speed limit rather than HP.
I'm not even sure a kicker would go over that well there anyway.
I will respect the rule but I do not agree with it.

A few people with nothing better to do than bitch about things is the cause of all this stuff..
Kind of like the street to my house now.. a couple complainers about people speeding, and now we have violent speed bumps every 50 yards.. but the speed limit remains the same.. punished the whole area because the law can’t control people’s speeds.. and now putting up stop signs . Have never seen an accident at these intersections until the stop signs went up and now people are sliding into each other ...

A no wake rule might be more helpful.. and wouldn’t cause to much argument on a small lake

No need to shithawk once all my fave spots are mapped true to life on the 2018 release.

This was the lake that I ran my own boat on for the first time ever. I hope I never forget that feeling.

Mike please send me all coordinates for LakeX so I don’t have to wait for you to get to said location to shithawk you. I’m retired and have ample time to fish your spots out clean before you get there. Oh ya and your preferable bait.

You'd be way better off following Josh Peacock as he lives there and is a top Bass tourney guy......that might give it away to some, that's all you get. If anyone got that hint, please keep it to yourself, for now, til the release is official.

Very diverse and very structure rich= very fun to fish!

There's much more than one lake for everyone to look forward to! Bass guys, Walleye guys and Crappie guys. If you like those 3 species, you're gonna be in for some exciting news!

Waiting and not fishing thru an entire season blows goats.

From an efficiency standpoint-- AEM is even more valuable for getting on fish thru the ice, over spring/summer and even Fall. It's the difference between drilling 6 holes without and one with.

That's one thing I need to check off the to-do list---AEM Lakers.

I've only ever fished Trout on vague or no mapping. Very inefficient and find myself getting in a routine because I'm not 100% on where to make a "big move" if fish arent moving into the spots I already know.

Use AEM on the ice, save on auger blades/sharpenings/gas.

What do you guys think, should we run with that pitch? ;)

As Pro Staff for Manitoba De-Icing Mallet's Association, this is a conflict of interest.......although the choice is easy. Guess I'm gonna have to give up my position and lose my 7% off approved mallets! Anyone hiring guides that don't know how to fish? Need to supplement my income now! :flushed:
