Pretty much what @Bryan said. The Clam bag is actually tough to find, not a lot of places carry it. It went on sale at cabelas last year and I grabbed one for $59 I think.

Pro-Am did have a handful of the pti-wbl transducers last year as well. That said, I think it was $30 cheaper at the fishin hole!

Everything as expected, not touching or thinking any further ice fishing crap for another 6 weeks. So I can't comment on the build until then.

    Starting now...

$99.00 Cdn is a lot for just the ducer. Hodges has the entire Lowrance kit for $124.00 U.S. The kit also includes the float and a spare power cord. Even if you go the Clam bag route, you could sell off the Lowrance kit bag and maybe the power cord and be ahead.

Lemme know if you want to order one.

I would certainly go that route @glennie_rapala but I understood the HDS 7 wouldn't fit that bag. Did I understand wrong?

I'm fine with the Lowrance bag if its big nuff. I don't need a lot of protection. I'm not hard on my stuff.

It’ll be a tight fit, which is why I suggested you sell the Lowrance bag that comes with the kit.

Ernie - you and I might know a guy famous for nut kicks who my old Elite-4. You should ask if he’d have use for the bag.
