Not quite sure as the two products are no where near the same. The GB40 (have one too) is solely a Booster Pac, don't know if could be used as a power supply but probably could if you rigged something up in place of the cable clamps, how long it would last, no idea. The one I'm selling is a Power Box that can also be used to boost vehicles, some distinct differences would be 400 watt inverter (so one could power something that only runs on AC), 3 12v outlets, USB outlet and the factthat it's a 20 ah SLA battery opposed to the Lithium one in the GB 40.

Everything I ran on the Power Box I currently run off the GB70, Big Buddy fan, USB ceiling fan, LED shelter lights and the Satellite Radio boom box.

GB70 is the catz azz!!!!!! I sure wish the battery clamps would detach like the other NOCO types.

Cliff i have the same unit - electrician buddies say it would be no prob to splice in a connector in the clamps - and retro fit with (as per their example) a minnkota quick connect....
But then you have to put the proper end on whatever you want to connect with (in my case a boat batt/sled/atv)
    Food for thought!
I ended up getting a gb40 with connectors/leads and will put those on the toys for a quick boost if needed. Atv and sled batts are a PITA to access.

Thanks Chris. Already crossed my mind to use a set of quick connects, female side to the booster pack and male side on the clamps with longer appropriately sized wire. May do that yet.

I opened up the B.B. and wired in a 6v adapter and ran a standard 12v cig type plug from it to just plug into a standard 12v outlet. I read recently that you can wire in place a typical USB cable and run it to a USB outlet. I am told they put out 6v. Haven’t tried that on anything yet.

Not really did it so long ago, don't even think the internet was around back then!!!!!!!

Anyway, these adapters are available everywhere; cut the plug off, wire it into the BB, set it to 6v, plugged it in and secured to to the extension cord, zip tied it into the compartment that normally houses one of the 1 lb tanks, run the male end of the extension cord out of the heater, and your set to go. I keep it coiled up in the compartment door for storage.
