So did it help him? I glanced at the results today and the weights seemed pretty low.....

Nope, but the coordinates I gave him were just barely outside of the derby boundaries. I had told him if that happened to call me and I can quickly give him some new ones.... but he never did. Needless to say he was skunked, but won the $1,000 early bird prize.

Saw somebody taking home a full colour poster map, not sure if they won it while the derby was going or you could buy them there.

The plan was to have the Falcon wall map we donated be a silent auction prize, with all proceeds going to St. Amant's Foundation.

I saw the lady walk up 3 times with the pale, at the awards place and listed on the derby fb page shows the same last name 3 times for different prizes. I just assumed maybe she was walking up with different tickets for her relatives?
Would be an odd coincidence if that many people of the same name won and weren't related.

I didn't put this in my post in the opener thread so I thought I would put it here. I just want to give a big shout out to AEM. The new sonar I got from Craig was very nice to use but the thing that had the biggest smile on my face was using their mapping for Falcon Lake. It was so enjoyable to troll along and keep at a certain depth of water and know what was coming up. I wasn't just guessing on how far a point went out and had some good starting points to get the day going. I now have a ton more confidence to go and try some new water. Thanks again Rob and Craig!

Glad to hear it Tony. It sounds so cliche and promo-heavy, but AEM maps really are game changers. They are so accurate that you can use them to anticipate bottom changes as you approach them....not react to changes in depth based on your sonar returns. They change how you can fish, no doubt about it.

Finally got to put AEM to good use today, up at Bird Lake!!! Pretty damn accurate, ran back in the dark with confidence, maybe some apprehension about logs but not about rocks!!! Might have had fish in the well too!!! Good job boys!!!

Ooops, misread the post! Not much that we can do about logs. Glad to hear the maps helped to put some in the boat!

I guess I should have said:" I was only worried about hitting logs on the run back"...

Fished some contours today, was amazed by the accuracy... I'm really looking forward to the future of this product, gonna open so doors!!!

Favour to ask for those of you on Facebook: would love to get some more "reviews" from people running our maps. If anyone was willing it would be much appreciated!
