Let’s have a bit of fun with a picture contest!

Post one of your most memorable pictures relating to fishing you have of yourself, a friend, or a family member. Tell us a bit of why the picture is memorable, and where it was taken. Post only in this thread. Only one entry per member. Tell your fishing friends about the contest and get them to enter as well. The contest will run until October 20 2015. If by October 20 2015 we do not have at least 50 entries, the contest will be extended 2 weeks...

At the end of the contest I will pick the top 10 contenders. The Forum members will then pick first and second place winners.

First place winner wins a Brand New Shimano Clarus fishing rod valued at approximately $110.00. This rod is sponsored by Pro-Am Tackle out of Winnipeg Manitoba.

Second place winner wins a hoodie with a left chest Canadian Fishing Forum embroidered logo. This hoodie and decoration is sponsored by Promo Time out of Neepawa Manitoba.

Please post your entiers below. Good Luck Everyone!

Here is a picture my wife took of me fishing with my boys. Had a smallie hooked on and my little one was ready with the net. We were on the Winnipeg River this past weekend.

Sorry there is no actual fish picture but I believe fishing is WAY MORE than just catching fish and my wife effectively captured what fishing means to me: Spending quality time with your kids in nature with a spectacular backdrop.

    Cheers.

We need more enteries! Let's see some memorable images. As long as it's fishing related and you, a family member, or a friend is included, it qualifies. The above enteries are all excellent contenders. Posts away guys and gals...

This was one of my most memorable days fishing....ever. Not because we caught a lot of fish, but, because 2 days earlier I'd never met 3 of the guys I was fishing with, and we remain friends until this day. The day started out with a sloppy, rainy, muddy drive up to the lake, but, it eventually cleared off enough for us to get out and experience one of the best fishing days I ever had. This rainbow emerged, and caught a shot of it, because for me, I'd found my pot at the end of the rainbow. IMG_1655.JPG

This was my girlfriends second fish ever. She wanted me to take the rod but I wouldn't do it. I honestly like watching others catch these pigs then catching them myself! The smile on her face explains why. IMG_9085.jpg

Mine is from this past May on my first trip trying for trout. We were on the last lake of the trip, and had fished it for a couple hours without any bites. Everyone else in the boat was ready to call it a day, but I was determined to not get skunked. I called my last cast, and as soon as my spoon hit the water, I felt a solid tug, and then nothing. I wasn't going to let the fish get off that easy! Took one more cast, and just like the last one, immediately felt the tug, but this time it stuck. Ended up landing my first brown trout, capping off a great trip. I learned a lot about fishing that weekend, and can't wait for my next chance to chase those fish. trout.jpg
