Hello from Diane

    Just introducing myself I am a hard water fishing nut. I do most of my fishing in the winter, mainly cause in summer I get lockported too much. I have to fish from shore no boat here in MB.
    Summer time is practice time for hunting, archery and rifle. I mostly hunt and fish by myself, so keeping up on hints and tips to make my outings productive and safe is a smart thing to do.
    I hope to make friends on here and see all the great fish pictures posted.

    I am going to take husband out for Crappie at zipper mouth lake as it is on his bucket list, the last time he went fishing was in 2013 Feb 14 because I kidnapped him. Never fished for them before so hoping to find a few threads about tackle, lures/bait and techniques.

    Thank you for the intro. There's some some great info here on what you're looking for. May I ask that you be careful when naming a water body anywhere in the Internet. It's always best not name the lake nor the place. Even in our forum here, where only registered members can see our comments, a sensitive fishery like crappie can go south very fast if the wrong eyes see it.

    You're in good hands here. Please share your accomplishments in your fishing endeavors. :thumbsup:

    Yep every lake I fish at is Zippermouth lake. The only way to find what lakes I go to, is with me and agree never say where. LOL
