Rod holder band

    On at least a few occassions the only things keeping my rod from going through the hole was that holder. Big rainbow or pike will do it.

    By far the best rod holder for a deadstick. It too will catch your rod before going down the hole. Does not interfere with the hook set. And when balanced with a deadstick rod , it’s as deadly as a bobber.

    Just saw this thread. I'm pretty sure the "rubber bands" that they originally came with were pieces of surgical latex hose. I only use mine when I'm reaching for a beer cause that's when the unexpected happens.
